The company ANTARES a.s. has been run as a family business since its foundation in 1992 and currently ranks among the largest European manufacturers of office chairs. In 1992, it was founded as a trading company focused specifically on office seating furniture. In 1993, thanks in part to the favorable market situation, it gradually transformed into a manufacturing company. In addition to exports oriented towards Western European markets, the company established further companies between 1995 and 2001 in Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Morocco and Ghana.
